Butterick B6685 Pullover Tunic with Ruffle Sleeves

This is Butterick B6685.  Here is the pattern, although I am not sure if Butterick still offers it.  Butterick B6685.

I made view B with C sleeves and I cut a size large.  I used an off white cream fabric I have had in my stash for a long time.  I believe I got it from Fabric Mart. https://www.fabricmartfabrics.com/

This pattern was fairly easy, but for a newbie, the facing and ruffles might be a little challenging.  Especially the ruffles.  The sleeves will take some time, but it is so worth it once you are done with it and wearing this lovely tunic with some cute jeans and boots!  Or in my case, some jeans and wedges.  I made it previously from a black linen and it was a really cute tunic as well.  That one was view A.

The pattern offers 4 sleeve variations and you can make the top for less than 3 yards of fabric.  Depending on the size, there are a lot of options for only 2 yards of fabric.

I made this tunic when I was working but I never got a chance to wear it to work.   However, now that I have gotten a chance to wear it, I really like it.  It’s fun and dressy and just a great fit. I really like the sleeves on this tunic and that for me is the bonus.
