Merry Merry Christmas!

Did you get everything you need to make this the best holiday evuh?  Are the presents wrapped, the food prepared, and all preparations made for the tons of people coming to visit?  [Screaming!]  I am so excited about this holiday season. I love Christmas and I love spending time with family and friends, cooking, and giving and receiving gifts. I love it.  Although, I do realize that all of what I love about the holiday is not all that the holiday is about for me.  It is different for everyone.  Some of my best memories are having bible study with my daughter on Christmas morning. Sometimes I would lead the study and sometimes my daughter would lead.  But it was always wonderful.  Then we would have a big breakfast before opening gifts. She was always so patient and allowed the entire process without getting anxious. That was our tradition for a very long time and it was a good tradition for us.  Ahhh.  The memories.

I am grateful for this opportunity to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday.  I hope whatever your expectations and desires are for the holidays, that you receive all that you want and give as much as you can.  I hope you feel appreciated and loved this holiday season and that you and your families are abundantly blessed.

If you are missing your loved ones during the holidays, especially if the loss was during the holidays, I hope the memories of your loved one[s] bring a big smile to your face and that you are able to share your memories with those you love.

My Christmas wish for you is that you always feel loved, respected, accepted, and appreciated, by yourself and by others.  That you never feel alone and always have someone in your life that loves you, and that you recognize that love.  That when you reflect on your past holidays, that you are filled with the kind of joy that makes you smile.  But most of all, I wish you love.
